Bob Moog Foundation Encore SoundbankExperience a timeless legacy…for a good causeThe Bob Moog Foundation Encore Soundbank is a new and exciting collection of instrument and percussion sounds produced in commemeration of Bob Moog’s 81st birthday.

In a charitable effort to raise funds for the foundation, over twenty legendary synthesists and renowned sound designers donated original samples to assist with the creation of the sound library, which offers over 2 GB of material.

The library is fully compatible with any host software on Mac or Windows that supports virtual instruments, including popular DAW software such as Ableton Live, Avid Pro Tools, Cockos Reaper, and MOTU Digital Performer.

All proceeds from the sale of the Encore Soundbank benefit the Bob Moog Foundation.

Inspired by legendary design – A custom synthesizer-style panel lets you edit each preset quickly and easily with familiar subtractive synthesis controls like those that Bob Moog made an industry standard.

Contributing artists and sound designers – The Encore Soundbank contains over 2,000 pristinely recorded 24-bit original samples (over 2 GB) from a who’s who list of synthesizer industry luminaries. Each artist thoughtfully constructed material inspired by the memory of Bob Moog and his contribution to modern music as we know it. This A-list group includes rock legends, synthesis icons, seasoned synth designers, epic DJ/remixers, music industry luminaries, top producers, pop artists and legendary sound designers. And now their shared inspiration can be at your fingertips.

Advanced virtual instrument technology – Advanced features include MIDI control of nearly all parameters, 256-note polyphony per instrument, ultra-low latency, efficient disk streaming for fast preset loading, all driven by the world-renowned UVI Engine XT™, known for its superb sound quality, universal plug-in compatibility and stand-alone operation.

Universal Compatibility – The library ships in the form of a UVI soundbank that can be loaded into the cross-platform, universally-compatible UVI Workstation virtual instrument player, available for free download from uvi.net. The library can also be loaded into MOTU’s MachFive 3 sampler for side-by-side integration with other MachFive-compatible soundbanks. Most of the 200+ Encore Soundbank presets are scripted to include vintage Moog-style filter and envelope controls. The Encore Soundbank is also fully compatible with MachFive 3, allowing you to load sounds side by side with all of your other MachFive 3 libraries.
